China has successfully launched the third orbiter for the indigenous Beidou navigation system

The China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CAVT) and the China News Service (CNS) reported the successful launch of a Beidou/BeiDou-3 geostationary orbit satellite today. The launch took place at 15:53:04 UTC on 28 September 2024, marking another important milestone in the construction of China's Beidou satellite navigation system and further improvement and upgrading of the Beidou-3 system.
