AntaRx offers a streamlined and robust solution for machine control systems

Gundersen & Løken AS, a leading Norwegian supplier of surveying and construction equipment, and its DigPilot subsidiary, have developed a revolutionary machine navigation system, Terra™, to meet the high demands of their customers. This system enables highly accurate RTK positioning, simplified cabling and increased system robustness through the integration of the AntaRx smart antenna, which combines a GNSS antenna and a high-performance receiver in a ruggedised enclosure, allowing it to function properly in extreme environments, including near the magnetic equator or poles, where strong ionospheric scintillation is often encountered. affect the transmission of GPS/GNSS signals.

Features of the DigPilot Terra™ 3D machine control system include:

The AntaRx smart antenna reduces cabling and is one of the most rugged systems on the market.
Installation takes only a few hours, dramatically reducing installation time compared to comparable systems.
Provides the easiest user interface and advanced real-time 3D graphics of excavator movement.
Eliminates software lag and improves operational efficiency through AntaRx's high update rate and low latency.
The AntaRx-Si3 from Septentrio is the first GNSS/INS smart antenna on the market in an ultra-rugged housing, designed for easy installation on machines such as agricultural robots. Rugged inside and out, the smart antenna is designed to be mounted on the outside of a machine for operation in harsh environments in the field and is encased in an impact-resistant polycarbonate IP69K housing that can withstand high levels of shock and vibration. The multi-frequency receiver provides Septentrio's field-proven, high-precision RTK positioning to the centimetre level.

In addition, the AntaRx smart antenna provides a high level of accuracy.

In addition, the AntaRx Smart Antenna has performed well on projects such as the expansion of a large defence plant in Norway, which required digging trenches to lay new pipelines. This demonstrates the reliability and robustness of AntaRx in real-world applications.

The DigPilot Terra™ machine navigation system from Gundersen & Løken AS has been successfully using Septentrio receivers in its guidance systems for more than 12 years by using the reliable and highly accurate positioning solutions provided by Septentrio. These multi-frequency receivers operate even in challenging environments where satellite visibility is limited or multipath effects exist.

Overall, the DigPilot Terra™ machine navigation system from Gundersen & Løken AS, by integrating the AntaRx smart antenna, not only improves the accuracy and reliability of the machine's navigation, but also enhances the ruggedness of the system, enabling it to operate in a variety of harsh environments.
