OneWeb has announced the launch of an alternative PNT service



The Astra product from OneWeb Technologies is indeed designed to maintain LEO SATCOM connectivity in GNSS compromised environments.Astra is a solution that includes a software-defined outdoor receiver capable of processing Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) signals from GNSS and multiple alternative sources and bands to ensure that there is no interference in terms of connectivity and situational awareness without interference.

In addition to the Astra product, Septentrio has also introduced a high-performance GNSS receiver board called the Septentrio M3 Pro+ GNSS board. Combining more than two decades of Septentrio innovation, this is a multi-band, multi-constellation GNSS receiver that delivers top positional performance and can be used as a base station or mobile station receiver.
In dual-antenna mode, it offers a wide range of GNSS functions. In dual-antenna mode, it provides reliable and accurate positioning information in addition to heading and pitch or roll information, and has a data update rate of up to 100Hz.
The M3 Pro+ is available in dual-antenna mode.
