The combination of LiDAR and GNSS/INS sensors enables the generation of high-quality 3D maps and the performance of detailed inspections

Xenomatix is a company focused on providing solid-state LiDAR solutions for autonomous driving, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and road digitisation. Their products include the XenoTrack and XenoLidar families.

XenoTrack is a highly accurate, short-range 3D road surface measurement tool that utilises LiDAR technology to detect road quality and is capable of millimetre-level global coordinate accuracy.XenoTrack is capable of emitting 1,000 beams simultaneously, mapping the road surface in 3D and marking each measurement to locate damage to the road surface with centimetre-level accuracy. It is particularly well suited for road quality inspection and road maintenance, providing very detailed information about the road surface.

XenoLidar, another Xenomatix product, is a true solid-state LiDAR for medium and long range object detection and tracking, based on a high-density point cloud that provides unrivalled detection and tracking capabilities for real-time monitoring of vehicle surroundings. This product is suitable for the ADAS/Autonomous Driving sector and can be integrated into multiple locations in the vehicle such as the windscreen, rear window, grille, headlamps, taillamps and bumpers.

Xenomatix's products and software enable accurate, real-time 4D-6D digitisation of the vehicle's surroundings to support safer and more comfortable vehicle applications. The company has partnerships with a number of Tier 1 suppliers and automotive companies, including Marelli, AGC, Siemens, Imec, Septentrio, Cosworth, TOYO, JAT, Kautex and Shanghai ZK.

Among the partners is Septentrio, a provider of high-precision positioning solutions, whose product, the AsteRx SBi3 Pro+ GNSS/INS receiver, combines with Xenomatix's technology to further enhance the accuracy and reliability of road scanning. the AsteRx SBi3 Pro+ is a rugged multi-band GNSS/INS receiver that provides centimetre-level positional accuracy and 3D orientation (including heading, pitch and roll angles) in harsh environments. Features of this receiver include:

Accurate and reliable IMU-enhanced GNSS positioning with centimetre-level accuracy.
Provides full access to raw GNSS and IMU data.
Supports single or dual antenna configurations with heading, pitch and roll angles.
Rugged and compact IP68 waterproof housing design.
AIM+ unique interference monitoring and mitigation system, as well as advanced additional GNSS+ algorithms.
Quad-constellation, multi-band, full-view RTK positioning.

The AsteRx SBi3 Pro+ provides an intuitive web user interface for easy operation and monitoring, allowing the user to control the receiver from any mobile device or computer. The web interface also provides easy-to-read quality indicators, perfect for monitoring receiver operation while completing the task at hand.

Xenomatix technical features include:
True solid-state LiDAR technology with no rotation and no moving parts.
Highly accurate pavement measurements with up to millimetre accuracy.
High-speed, high-resolution measurements, processing a large number of data points per second.
Ability to operate in adverse weather conditions.
Ability to compensate for vehicle roll and pitch factors.

Supports real-time data output and post-processing.

The company's product application areas include:
Development of active suspension systems for vehicles.
Simulation of field road profiles.
Development of autonomous driving.

Road construction, mapping and maintenance.

Xenomatix's partners include a number of well-known companies and organisations, demonstrating the market acceptance of its technology. The company's products and technologies are being used in a wide range of applications in the automotive industry and in the improvement of road infrastructure.
