The ZED-F9H module has been designed with the objective of providing optimal heading information to applications where the most precise attitude is of paramount importance.
The ZED-F9H module serves as an accompanying module, necessitating the installation of a ZED-F9P module on the same vehicle. In this configuration, the ZED-F9P module furnishes precise global navigation satellite system (GNSS) position data while simultaneously functioning as a moving base for the ZED-F9H module, which in turn outputs precise attitude information.
As the heading information is derived from GNSS, pre-calibration is not necessary, thereby facilitating the production, integration and operation of the system. The precise heading information is consistently available, even in situations where the vehicle is stationary.
The ZED-F9H has been designed with the objective of reducing the overall cost of the system for a heading application, while simultaneously ensuring a minimal e-BOM. Its compact dimensions, lightweight construction and low power consumption make it an ideal candidate for mass market adoption.
U-blox modules are manufactured in facilities that have been certified in accordance with the ISO/TS 16949 standard and are subjected to comprehensive testing at the system level. Qualification tests are conducted in accordance with the ISO 16750 standard, which outlines the requisite environmental conditions and testing procedures for electrical and electronic equipment utilized in road vehicles.
