Inertial Labs introduces the KERNEL-201, a miniature MEMS sensor-based Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that, with its ultra-low noise, high bandwidth, and minimal latency, is ideal for use in systems where performance and size are critical. At only 0.38 cubic inches, this IMU offers high dynamic range and sets a new standard for miniature IMUs.
KERNEL-201
The KERNEL-201 features a three-axis MEMS accelerometer and gyroscope that is fully calibrated and temperature compensated to ensure consistent, accurate measurements even in the most challenging environments. The gyroscope has an operational bias stability of up to 0.7 degrees/hour, and the accelerometer has an operational bias stability of up to 0.005 milligrams. In addition, angular random walk (ARW) is as low as 0.065°/√hour and velocity random walk (VRW) is as low as 0.015 m/s/√hour.
The unit is ruggedly designed to withstand the rigours of the weather.
Designed to withstand high levels of shock and vibration while maintaining maximum performance for a variety of challenging applications, the KERNEL-201 can be easily integrated into a wide range of advanced systems such as Motion Reference Units (MRUs), GPS-assisted Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), and Attitude and Heading Reference Systems (AHRS). It offers continuous built-in test (BIT), customisable communication protocols and flexible power options, making it ideal for demanding applications in a wide range of industries.
Meanwhile, Septentrio has introduced the Septentrio M3 Pro+ GNSS board, an ultra-low power, general-purpose, high-precision GNSS OEM board that combines Septentrio's best-of-breed GNSS core technologies with more than two decades of innovation. AsteRx-m3 Pro+ is a full-constellation, full-frequency GNSS receiver with excellent positioning performance, which can be used as both a reference station receiver and a mobile station receiver. In dual antenna mode, in addition to reliable and accurate positioning, it also provides heading & pitch or heading & roll information. Ultra-high data update rate up to 100Hz.
The AsteRx-m3 Pro+ GNSS receiver incorporates AIM+'s advanced interference suppression and interference monitoring technology, with built-in RF sampling, anti-jamming and anti-spoofing systems. AIM+ can detect GNSS interference signals radiated by automated equipment or electronic devices, reducing set-up times and ensuring robust and continuous operation of the receiver.
AIM+ ensures robust and continuous receiver operation by reducing setup times.
Both products, the KERNEL-201 and the Septentrio M3 Pro+ GNSS board, represent the state-of-the-art in their respective fields, offering highly accurate and reliable solutions for inertial measurements and GNSS positioning, respectively.
