Swift Navigation has announced the addition of Unicore to its partner programme, thereby facilitating the broader utilisation of precise positioning technologies

Swift Navigation's partnership with Unicore Communications has resulted in Swift's SkylarkTM precision positioning service now being compatible with Unicore's flagship quad-band and tri-band high-performance GNSS modules. This partnership furthers Swift's goal of introducing next-generation mass-market positioning solutions across all verticals.

SkylarkTM Positioning Service is a cloud-based, hardware-agnostic GNSS calibration service that delivers centimetre-level accuracy, fast convergence and uniform performance. This is ideal for many industries, especially those requiring high-precision mapping, tracking and navigation technologies, such as self-driving cars, as well as applications that improve safety and efficiency.

With anti-jamming features and advanced sensors, SMARTCOM's modules are able to operate in complex electromagnetic environments and offer a variety of different substrate surfaces. The modules can now benefit from Skylark's precise positioning and are ideally suited for a wide range of applications such as smart and autonomous driving, robotics, precision agriculture, GIS mapping, drones, machine control, and more.
